AIRPORT TRANSFER PROCEDURES
El Conquistador Golf Resort & Casino operates transfer service to and from Luis Munoz Marin International Airport using luxury motor coaches. Upon arrival at the airport, guests should proceed to the baggage claim area, where they will see their uniformed bilingual staff holding El Conquistador signs. The staff welcomes guests to Puerto Rico, directs them to the appropriate carrousel to collect their luggage and advises how to engage a porter for luggage assistance. The greeters give directions on exiting the baggage claim area and locating our motor coach station. At the station, names are listed and called in to the Front Desk. Then luggage is tagged and guests are given a claim check. To enhance the arrival experience, guests can enjoy a beverage (with or without a splash of rum) and watch a video presentation of El Conquistador during the transfer to the resort.
The trip to El Conquistador takes about one hour and en route, the driver calls in to the Front Desk to alert them of arriving guests, so key packets can be prepared. Upon arrival at the resort, guests are directed to the Front Desk. After check-in, guests return to Bell Service, give their claim tickets to Bell Service, identify their luggage and are escorted to their room. Transfers are $68.00 round trip, per person, plus 7% tax. To make a reservation, please call the Concierge Desk at 787-863-6040. Transfer service can be charged to your guest room upon arrival.
DEPARTURE TRANSFERS
Guests will need to make a reservation for the return coach 24 hours before departure by calling the Concierge Desk (extension 6040). El Conquistador recommends departing 3 hours prior to flight time. Motor coaches depart the resort every hour on the hour; however, please check with the Concierge for changes in the schedule.
On departure day, guests should call Bell Service for luggage assistance at least ½ hour prior to departure. Guests need to be at the front of the resort 15 minutes before the hour. Before boarding the coach, guests are asked to identify their luggage and make sure it goes on the coach on which they will be traveling.
Upon arrival at the airport, guests can engage a porter to assist them with their luggage. All checked baggage must be passed through an agricultural inspection to ensure that no fruits or vegetables are carried on board. The agricultural inspection must be completed prior to airline check-in. Guests then check-in with their appropriate airline. Please note that only departing guests can pass through Security to the gate area.
